Darjeeling green tea is a type of tea that is grown in the Darjeeling region of India. The tea is plucked by hand, withered, and then dried through steaming or pan-roasting to prevent oxidation. Darjeeling green tea boasts extensive health potential thanks to a high concentration of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants including polyphenols. The Green tea is dried and steamed but not fermented, and as a result many of the natural beneficial chemicals are retained. Darjeeling green tea has considerable less astringency than other green teas.
