Roti Bank Hyderabad was started in Aug 2020 when the pandemic was rampant, inspired by Roti Foundation Mumbai which was started by D. Sivanandhan IPS (retired former Commissioner of Police Mumbai and Director General Police Maharashtra).

Deductible Under Income Tax

All donations are eligible for deduction under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Roti Bank Hyderabad is registered u/s 80 G of the Income Tax Act 1961 vide registration number AAETR5597HF20231. The above registration is approved by the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax/ Commissioner of Income Tax under the Income Tax Act 1961 vide approval letter no. AAETR5597HF20231 dated March 24, 2023.
