As the world stares at the imminent catastrophic consequences of largely human-induced climate change and scurries for quick fix solutions, we seem to be ignoring the subtle hints the mother earth is kind enough to provide us that the solutions are very much around us if we ever look for them in the form of Sustainability and Regeneration.

This, when pursued further, leads one to the simple-to-execute but highly impactful ways of solving many problems with one stroke – the regenerative agroforestry! This extremely effective approach of growing food forests on hopelessly degraded and barren lands of India, based on a uniquely progressive 7-layered technique, could be the much-needed panacea for the unstoppable climate change crisis.  

In the absence of any full-fledged institutional funding support, this multi-pronged initiative with proven convergence of social, economic and environmental benefits is moving at a painfully and alarmingly slow pace. The programme championed and rolled out by team Gaia The Earth Foundation across multiple locations in India is now turning to crowd-sourcing its conservative funding requirements through individual and group donations of all denominations.
