Dr Marilyn Siegel

Marilyn J. Siegel, MD, is a professor of radiology and pediatrics at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Siegel was MIR’s first female chief resident in radiology and, later, its first female professor of radiology. She helped develop computed tomography (CT) into a tool that has changed patient treatment and outcomes, working to reduce children’s exposure to radiation during CT scans. An internationally recognized expert on diagnostic imaging of children, Siegel has received invitations to speak all over the world. In 2018, the Society for Advanced Body Imaging recognized her accomplishments with the Gold Medal, its highest award. She is also co-director of the NIH-funded Imaging Response Assessment Core (IRAC) at Washington University, where she is responsible for response assessment in clinical trial studies at the university. Siegel is the author of over 336 journal articles, 54 chapters, and 20 books, including “Pediatric Sonography,” a definitive guide to the use of ultrasound in pediatric patients, now in its fifth edition. She is an alumna of MIR’s diagnostic radiology residency and pediatric radiology fellowship, in addition to a pediatric oncology fellowship at Seattle Children’s Orthopedic Hospital and a pediatric residency at Cardinal Glennon Memorial Hospital.


Dr Leslie Scoutt

Dr Scoutt is a Professor of Radiology and serves as Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine, USA and is the Medical Director of the Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory at YHH.

Dr Scoutt's clinical expertise includes aspects of ultrasound with emphasis on imaging of the female pelvis and vascular ultrasound.

Dr Scoutt has been active in numerous national radiology societies including the ABR, ARRT, ACR, RSNA, ARRS, AIUM, SRU and SAR, and has received numerous awards for teaching and service from Radiology residents at YNHH, the SRU, RSNA and the ABR.
