EMPOWERING SMALL AND MARGINAL FARMERS

Donation Cause

IFTR (Indigenous and Frontier Technology Research Centre) has been working with many small and marginal farmers and teaching them about the need for improving the quality of soil and enrich the same through different practices including the use of on-farm produced inputs like Panchagavya, organic liquid fertilizers, Amrit Pani, natural pest repellants and other interventions that help them reduce the cost of agricultural production as well as get a good price for their produce.

Along with this, it is also critical to support the small and marginal farmers to get enough support, in turn, to support their families, children, and their needs and wants.

Post-Covid 19 the cost of living increased and their per-month expenses have gone up. On the other side, the profitability increases were not that appreciative.

Working together, we can empower the farmers, farming families, and associated activities to promote a better ecosystem and promote more individuals of their families also to become entrepreneurs standing on their own legs, adopt new technologies and connect more people to effectively network and make better livelihoods.

We are raising funds to support them in all possible ways that include education, environmental upkeep, and common resource maintenance. Your support will help many farmers to go organic and reduce the use of harmful pesticides, contribute positively to climate change, and address overall development.

Your donation will support the Sustainable Agricultural Practices, which aims at creating awareness among the farmer and farmer families, bringing knowledge of dedicated agriculturists, nutritionists and small business promotion specialists to conduct seminars and address the soil health improvement challenge thereby ensuring crop quality and overall development through livelihood improvement.
