Only the human is capable of acting from creativity. No other form of life has this capability. Yet, modern education ignores creativity completely. Worse, present day techniques and systems of education stifle and destroy creativity by emphasising rote accumulation of information without investigation. Questioning, discovery and experience provide understanding; information is a result and consequence of
this process. By emphasising mere accumulation of information, the human is reduced to the level of a machine.
Education must allow creativity to flower in the human. Flowering is possible only when the environment for growth of the human as a whole is provided.
