CASA is a non-profit organization that works to make our society fairer and more sustainable. We do this by helping people who are struggling because of poverty, discrimination, or other challenges. We work with communities to help them become stronger and more organized, and we also help protect human rights and the environment.
Education is no longer just a distant dream for Lakshmi! She can go to school again.
6-year-old Lakshmi loves reading, writing, and drawing pictures. But she was forced to drop out of school as her family, belonging to the Irula Tribe, kept migrating to different places in search of work. CASA’s team encourages parents in marginalized villages to send their children to Bridge schools, and that’s how we met Lakshmi. She is now continuing her education with us and inspires us all with her lively smile.
With Bridge Schools, CASA is making education accessible to children who drop out of school because of various reasons. Help us bring smiles to many more faces.
