We all lives in 21st Century, but essential natural process for life, Periods still unspoken issue for our society. In rural areas, the awareness regarding menstruation is less, so adolescents and women suffers a lots. Jharkhand based social organization Nischay Foundation running "Menstrual Hygiene awareness campaign" and various Educational & community development campaigns through Public Participation in rural villages of Kolhan region in Jharkhand.

Team Nischay working delicately for changing the scenario since 2017, started PadBank's is 30 Schools and Villages to empower girls and women on their issues of menstruation. Team conducting regular awareness sessions and activities to aware more and more adolescents and women to break the taboo regarding the periods. Nischay running various inspirational initiatives viz. Gift Sanitary Pads for Rural Girls, Pad Banks in schools, Installation of Incinerators for disposal of napkins, Project PadHumans, Ek Pad Ek Ped, Veer Shahid ganesh Hansda Fellowship, Veer Shahid ganesh Hansda Library, Nanhein Rachnakar, and more for 360 degree awareness and change in mindset regarding menstrual hygiene, along with integration with issues of Gender Equality, Environment and Education.

Nischay dedicated initiates impacted and contributed the issue on large geographical area globally.

Nischay planed to start at least 50 Padbanks in Rural Schools of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Saraikella-Kharsawan Districts of Jharkhand State through public Support. Nischay also working to develop Menstrual Hygine and woman Health Network for wider impact across the villages and schools at adjacent states of Jharkhand.
